Until I generate Grisham or King like returns, and maybe even then, I’ll be keeping a day job in IT. I’ve been an IT guy since high school, and it goes hand-in-hand with my sci-fi reading geekdom. I’ve moved into and out of the ranks of management, and I check every day to see if my hair is pointy.

I have fifteen years of IT experience, all in a mix of management and engineering roles. My emphasis is on customer service and responsiveness to business goals — technology is just an enabler. And I can manage engineers — no small feat.

And yes, I’ve changed jobs AGAIN! But now I have a super awesome mega-happy job. I work at Gearbox Software, maker of fine games like Borderlands. You go buy now, or Jeff smash!
