Jeff Macfee

Jeff Macfee was born. In the beginning there were wasted years. Many wasted years. Including this year. But then there was the change (not menopause) and Jeff created the written word. Badly. But still he persevered. Badly.

This failure has not stopped Jeff from producing half of two different novels, a quarter of three other novels, and roughly a dozen short stories. Most of these stories, when submitted, received rejection letters. However, one short story garnered a very nice rejection letter with the phrase “there’s the bones of a story here.” A humor piece was not entirely greeted with disdain.  Major awards cannot be far behind.

Jeff occasionally has a day job in IT. None of his “writing” would be possible without the support of his loving wife, who has agreed to hold off divorce proceedings, as it is difficult to extract assets from an unemployed husband with nothing to his name.

In his spare time Jeff writes pretentious fake bios. He lives in North Texas with his wife, four-year-old son Sean, and Ed the cat.
