Chapter Seven derails

I’ve just read Chapter Seven and the big scene in that chapter is a complete mess. That whole part has to be re-written, and who knows what that will do to the plot. That’s the problem. I should know.

Ug.

Oh well. On to Chapter Eight. May it not be the steaming pile of garbage Chapter Seven was.

See how useful this is? Writers are schitzo. One minute the book is genius, the next minute it’s crap. I think the lesson is that you must keep going, regardless. Unless it is crap.

What do I know? I haven’t even been published.

Followed by the sounds of the world’s smallest violins.

I’ll stop now. I’ll be back when I’m once again wildly over-optimistic about the novel.
