Wo hoo! Cracked sixty-five thousand words today. And that’s during a week which saw diminished production. A couple of my days were only one thousand word days.

I can’t believe it, but I may very well be approaching the home stretch of DRAFT ONE! There’s a long way to go, but I figure I should celebrate the milestones as I go. Otherwise I’d just go insane. Or more insane.

I think the book is, well, not bad at this point. It’s not good, but it’s not bad either, which is fine for a first draft.

Keeping my fingers crossed I can now sprint to the end.
